About Lottie
Lottie was admitted into our care in May in a truly horrific state, heavily pregnant with a toxic mastitis which was causing her mammary glands to shed off. Toxic mastitis in female cats is a severe condition where bacteria infects the mammary glands.
It was evident that Lottie had been suffering for a while, and she had to have surgery to remove the infected mammary tissue. Unfortunately, Lottie’s kittens did not make it due to the severity of her condition.
Lottie was left with a large wound post-surgery but thanks to the dedicated care of our amazing veterinary team she has made an incredible recovery after many weeks of treatment, and we are delighted that she is now ready to start finding her forever home!
Despite having a rough start in our care, Lottie is a sweet girl with a gentle nature and chatty personality as she loves to say ‘Hello’ to everyone who pops into veterinary.
Lottie is a beautiful young adult cat, who can be a little nervous when you first meet her but once settled she very sweet and affectionate.
