About Freddie
Freddie is a very handsome young adult cat who was admitted into our care after being found with an injured leg. After some rest and time with our animal care team, he is now ready to find himself a home.
Freddie can be a little shy when you first meet him but once settled he is a very sweet and affectionate boy. He really loves nothing more than human affection and company and can often be found cuddling up to our animal care team. He is also the chief biscuit maker here in our centre as he loves to reward your attention and head scratches with a belly flop while making biscuits!
Freddie loves having a private cozy space where he can hide away for a cat nap, as he enjoys having his own space at times, especially as he settles and adjusts to his new environment.
Freddie is looking for a very special home, as he has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), which is a viral infection which causes affected cats to have a weaker immune system. FIV+ cats can and do live normal lives with certain boundaries in place.
It is important that he is housed to a single cat household, but could potentially live with another FIV+ cat pending gradual introductions in the home. As well as this, he will have to be an indoor only cat.
Freddie would love to find a quieter more settled home, he could live with children over 10 years who are used to cats and can give him his own space to settle and adjust.
