About Maggie
Maggie was admitted into our care as an injured stray who was found by a member of the public. Upon admission, it was thought that she had been involved in a road traffic accident as she had a displaced hip. After cage rest and care from our vet team, Maggie is ready to start looking for her forever home! She is still slowly building up her strength through ongoing exercise and this will need to be continued in her new home.
Maggie is a very energetic collie who loves the company of people, she has a curious and adventurous nature and loves to use her nose to explore the world around her when she is out on her daily walks. She has a playful streak and loves playing with her squeaky toys and bringing them with her on her walks!
Maggie will need a home with outdoor space as she will eventually need a lot of exercise. Her new owners will need to be ready to dedicate training time with her, as she has missed out on essential basic training.
Due to her boisterous nature, she would be best suited in a home with children over 10 years old. She could potentially share her home with another dog of similar personality pending successful meetings at our centre, however she could not share a home with cats.
